This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled in connection with the website yashor.com and the application "Letter to Burn" / "Carta para quemar" (the "app"). Protecting your privacy is central to what we offer, so this policy aims to be clear and honest.

1. Data controller

2. The app does not collect or keep what you write

The app is designed not to collect personal data. Specifically:

What you write in the app exists only on your device during the session and is destroyed when you "burn" it. It is not stored permanently, not sent to any server, and not transmitted to third parties — not even to us.
The app requires no account or sign-up, does not track your activity, and displays no advertising.

3. Data collected by the website

On yashor.com you may voluntarily provide your email address, through the form, in order to be notified about the app's launch. We collect only that data, and only if you choose to submit it.

In addition, the provider hosting the site may automatically record basic technical data (such as IP address and browser information) for security and operational purposes, as a standard practice.

4. Purpose and basis

We use your email solely to notify you about the launch and to send you information directly related to the app. We do not sell your email nor share it with third parties for advertising. The basis for processing is your consent, given when you submit the form, which you may withdraw at any time.

5. Processors and third parties

Netlify — hosts the site and handles the form; stores the submitted emails.
Microsoft (Outlook) — receives notifications of new sign-ups in our account.
App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Google) — when you purchase the app, payment and billing are handled by these platforms under their own policies. We do not receive or store your payment data.

Each third party processes data under its own privacy policy.

6. International data transfer

Some of our providers (including Netlify and Microsoft) operate servers located outside Ecuador. By using the form, you understand and accept that your email may be stored and processed on servers located in other countries, with the protective measures provided by those providers.

7. Retention

We keep your email until the launch and for as long as you wish to keep receiving notices. We delete it upon your request or when it is no longer needed for the stated purpose.

8. Your rights

Under Ecuador's Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to the processing of your data, and to data portability, among others. To exercise them, write to yashor.health@outlook.com and we will respond within the legal timeframes.

9. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect data (for example, encrypted connection via HTTPS). However, no system on the internet is completely infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Minors

The service is not directed to minors under 18 (the age of majority in Ecuador). If you are a minor, use it with the consent and guidance of your parent or legal guardian.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will be posted on this page with the date of last update. Continued use of the site or app implies acceptance of the current version.

12. Governing law and language

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. The Spanish version is the official and prevailing version; this English translation is provided for convenience only and, in case of any discrepancy, the Spanish text shall prevail.
